Hi Ron, I've been checking out your wonderful photos! Both my son and daughter are photographers too! I'm happy to know your whereabouts after so many years and that you are happy.

Thank you Roslyn for your kind words. A son and a daughter, you must be very proud and sound very happy. Who would have thought back in Britannia that you would end up in Mexico and me in Texas?
I believe that things work out for the best. Sadly we are being tested as our dog was shot and later died last Monday. That is why I stopped posting blogs and am heading home. But we have wonderful friends that give us love and light and Chili our dog lives on in our hearts. All the best to you and yours and keep in touch. Who knows we may be in Mexico again sooner than later and would love to see you.
Happy Trails

Yes, who would have imagined our journeys. I've been here in Mexico 45 years now! A whole lifetime. We have 2 sons who married Canadian girls and live in Vancouver and 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter living here in Cuernavaca (an hour south of Mexico City).
You are most, most welcome here in Mexico anytime! Wouldn't that be something! Please let us know.
So very sorry about your dog. Hasta luego! Ros

thirstyworks: what's in a name? I have been shooting since my teens, in spite of my Dad's cussing and fussing with cameras at family gatherings. My passion for the American Southwest was rekindled when Helen and I moved to Las Vegas. It gave us proximity to some of the best, and least visited, parks and preserves. It was wonderful. It was hot. Invariably after a photo trek we would return to the truck and, reaching into the mandatory cooler for a frosty road nectar, declare 'this is thirstywork!' The name stands. Cheers!

In an effort to simplify my blogs, miPhoneography is now an archive only...no new postings will be added but you can continue to search old ones by clicking on this text.
Having said that, all of the images on thirstyworks the blog are shot and processed in my iPhone5. Thank you for your support.
